Help shape the future of hospital-at-home.
Can AI handle the coordination work behind hospital-at-home care? We’re building the public benchmark that answers it — and nurses set the bar.
Our research question
How do AI agents compare with nurses on the accuracy and safety of hospital-at-home coordination?
Clinical knowledge is only part of the job.
Coordinating care at home means fitting visits around treatments, travel, staffing, and the unexpected. A useful AI system needs to navigate those constraints—and recognize when a patient needs more help.
Nurses and agents, measured the same way.
Our benchmark asks nurses and AI agents to complete the same kinds of work, using scenarios shaped by clinicians and the procedures their programs actually follow.
It becomes a publicly released research paper.
Your work sets the human baseline an AI system is measured against, published as the standard once the study concludes.
What does the task entail?
Work through familiar care scenarios and respond as you would at work. We’ll provide the instructions and information you need.
- Plan two days of visits
- Build the day’s schedule for a panel of patients at two different hospital-at-home programs, working from each program’s own procedures.
- Make an intake call
- Talk a newly arrived patient through their check-in out loud. The patient is played by an AI voice, not a real person.
- Done asynchronously from your own computer
- Your name stays off anything we publish
How do I take part?
No scheduling, no setup, no locked-in time.
Done on your own laptop
Everything runs in your browser. We send you a link once your application is reviewed.
Done asynchronously
No call to join and nothing to schedule. Open it whenever you like and work at your own pace.
Frequently asked questions
There are only so many nurses who can do this.
The baseline can only be set by people who do this work. If that’s you, a few hours of your judgment shapes what every system after this is held to.
